Marx ante Smith y Ricardo: la crítica de las categorías económicas y la magnitud del valor

Este trabajo, desde un enfoque filosófico, entiende la crítica de la economía política de Marx como una crítica a las categorías económicas, mediante la cual es posible captar las relaciones sociales que constituyen el ser del capital. Aborda la confrontación de Marx con las proposiciones de Smith y Ricardo en torno a la noción de valor y al problema irresuelto de la magnitud del valor. Se argumenta que estos economistas no logran captar adecuadamente las formas sociales que se ocultan en las categorías económicas, limitación que Marx busca superar con la crítica a la “forma valor”. La elucidación de esta forma es un punto de partida necesario, aunque insuficiente, que exige continuar la crítica hacia la forma capital.
