“HACER CIENCIAS SOCIALES SIEMPRE ES TOMAR PARTIDO” ENTREVISTA EXCLUSIVA CON EMIR SADER

En esta entrevista, realizada el 3 de junio de 2004 en la Ciudad de México, durante la visita que el filósofo y analista político brasileño Emir Sader hizo a nuestro país con motivo del seminario América Latina en Movimiento, organizado por el Instituto de Investigaciones Económicas de la UNAM, se discute el papel de las ciencias sociales y las universidades en el actual contexto latinoamericano poniendo especial atención en las posibilidades que un conocimiento crítico abre en la “lucha por la hegemonía” en el actual momento histórico-cultural. En este sentido, se examinan con él los alcances de los proyectos alter- nativos en educación y los impactos y responsabilidades que conlleva hacer ciencia social en la presente coyuntura.
