Consecuencias de la objeción epistémica al Paternalismo Libertario

Este trabajo examina la objeción epistémica al Paternalismo Libertario y sus consecuencias para la distinción entre empujones y enlodamientos. Argumento que, si las decisiones están inevitablemente moldeadas por la arquitectura de las decisiones, los diseñadores de políticas públicas no pueden conocer las preferencias reales de las personas ni determinar si una intervención mejora su bienestar. Esto debilita la justificación normativa de los empujones y limita la posibilidad de distinguir entre intervenciones benéficas y perjudiciales. Sostengo que los criterios actualmente propuestos, consecuencialistas o descriptivos, son insuficientes, y que las políticas conductuales requieren marcos normativos más transparentes, menos paternalistas y menos dependientes de supuestos epistémicos fuertes.
