Neoliberalismo y políticas sociales en México en el periodo 2000-2018: continuidad sin resultados en el combate a la pobreza

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo analizar la continuidad de las políticas económicas y sociales en el periodo de 2000-2018, que expresa la coincidencia ideológica de los gobiernos del PRI y el PAN en la consolidación del neoliberalismo en México. Se puede demostrar la continuidad ideológica del neoliberalismo en un sistema de partidos que, pese a los programas sociales, no erradicó ni disminuyó la pobreza y la desigualdad social. En cambio, priorizó los intereses económicos de las élites gobernantes en detrimento de la condición de vida de amplios sectores sociales. La pertinencia de este artículo reside en la necesidad de documentar y analizar el modelo económico (todavía vigente en sus fundamentos); su proceso de conformación y consolidación por parte de los principales integrantes del sistema de partidos en México.
