Abstract

This work shows necropower in a situated context: north Veracruz, Mexico. Necropolitics are explained, as well as the subjective configuration that is imposed. Then, method developed is described, based on a qualitative and interdisciplinary approach. Later, “kitchens” are discussed as a form of deploy of necroempowered entities and subjective configuration that prevails; the importance of family organizations is outlined to resist violence. Conclusions aim to the importance of comprehending necropower situated and that this space can make possible politic agency.
