Generación de energía a baja escala en México: obstáculos y alternativas

En este artículo se analizan brevemente dos casos de generación de energía renovable a baja escala, uno ubicado en Tecoh, Yucatán y otro más localizado en Punta Allen, Quintana Roo, ambos de tipo fotovoltaico pero que presentan particularidades técnicas y de implementación importantes. Por ello, el texto inicia describiendo en qué consiste la generación distribuida, los sistemas aislados y los distintos marcos normativos y financiamientos que los incentivan. Se retoman dos conceptos: pobreza energética (García, 2016) y justicia energética (Sanz, 2019) para indagar cómo pueden estos proyectos contribuir a que el acceso a la energía sea más equitativo.
