Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es describir los efectos que los ilegalismos tienen sobre la vida de los jóvenes en contextos de pobreza urbana de un barrio emplazado en el partido de San Martín, provincia de Buenos Aires. A partir de resultados de investigación en territorio proponemos la categoría de ilegalismos de cuestión vital entendiendo por ésta al conjunto de prácticas que operan exponiendo a los jóvenes estudiantes a peligros, a un detrimento paulatino de los cuerpos y a la imposición de modos de vida. La investigación se sustenta en un diseño metodológico de base múltiple que articula el trabajo con entrevistas en profundidad, trabajos escolares y observación de actividades en la escuela y el barrio.
