Violencia juvenil en la Ciudad de México: factores criminológicos y estructurales del homicidio

Abstract

Este artículo examina el fenómeno del homicidio juvenil en la Ciudad de México utilizando un enfoque mixto que problematiza los elementos teóricos del juvenicidio y la sociología del delito. A través de un análisis orientado a variables, se investigan factores como el grado de marginación, el nivel educativo, la presencia de crimen organizado, la venta de alcohol y la disponibilidad de armas de fuego. Los resultados revelan una asociación significativa entre estos factores y el riesgo de homicidio juvenil, subrayando la necesidad de un análisis más exhaustivo. Esta investigación contribuye a la acumulación de evidencia empírica, destacando la relevancia del juvenicidio como categoría para entender la muerte violenta de la población joven.
