De leyenda de tradición oral al cuento escrito: relatos tradicionales en Santa Martha Acatitla

El artículo toma como punto de partida una de las características diferenciadoras de la leyenda: el valor de verdad para reflexionar sobre si este es un valor intrínseco al relato o extrínseco. El objeto de estudio del trabajo son las historias recopiladas tanto en trabajo de archivo como en trabajo de campo de Santa Martha Acatitla. En ambos casos, se aprecia cómo el transmisor cambia el punto de vista de la narración con lo que el valor de verdad cambia al pasar de la tradición oral a la tradición escrita; de este modo, los relatos que nacieron como leyenda se convierten en cuento. Se discute cuáles pudieran ser algunos factores que provocan este cambio, se toma en cuenta no sólo el cambio de foco de narrador, al pasar la historia a la escritura, sino también el contexto social de la localidad.Downloads
