El gesto como marcador del género en la oralidad: propuestas para su estudio

Abstract

Este trabajo parte de dos principios para hablar del gesto como marcador del género en la oralidad: el hecho de que los actos de comunicación orales están conformados por más elementos que las emisiones lingüísticas; y el hecho de que el género de estos actos debe ser determinado considerando elementos contextuales y de su ejecución. Tras analizar una serie de ejemplos de cómo la dimensión gestual caracteriza distintos géneros orales, el artículo propone ideas para utilizar sistemas de clasificación de los factores de la comunicación no verbal para hacer análisis complementarios de los contenidos verbales.
