Catálogo ecocrítico de cuentos de animales en la fábula hispanoamericana

Abstract

En este trabajo presento un catálogo de los cuentos de animales populares que han quedado plasmados en las fábulas literarias de los autores hispanoamericanos de los siglos XVIII y hasta los inicios del XX. Después de haber indizado más de medio centenar de apólogos con paralelos en la cuentística oral, llego a la conclusión de que muchos probablemente emanan de un legado escrito indoeuropeo, exceptuando unos pocos relatos de posible inspiración folclórica. Incluyo un comentario de los mensajes animalistas y ecologistas insertos en los textos, conforme a las preocupaciones de corrientes académicas actuales, y una reflexión sobre su enlace con otros géneros partiendo de ejemplos de este corpus.
