400 aniversario de la visita del príncipe de Gales a Madrid, según relato inédito de Don Diego de Soto

En 2023 se cumplió el 400 aniversario de la llegada a Madrid del príncipe de Gales, Carlos de Estuardo (1623), reivindicando su compromiso matrimonial con María de Austria. Este trabajo saca a la luz el relato inédito de D. Diego de Soto y Aguilar de dicha visita, el cual, desde su privilegiada posición, desvela todo lujo de detalles de muchos actos festivos celebrados en las calles y plazas de la villa de Madrid. Esta información permite profundizar en el estudio de la sociedad madrileña del siglo XVII a través de la trascendencia artística, social y urbana que estos acontecimientos tuvieron.Downloads
