Describir el cuerpo desde una perspectiva feminista implica un trayecto teórico, político y epistemológico que ha sido clave para la teoría, la investigación y el activismo feminista. Desde los estudios de la comunicación, retomamos el carácter expresivo y simbólico del cuerpo para analizar, desde un enfoque situado, feminista y autoetnográfico, cómo se configura como vehículo comunicativo en prácticas visuales. A partir del proyecto textil “bordar para sanar” y de la experiencia fotográfica comunitaria con Mujeres por la Memoria de Cherán, mostramos que el bordado y la fotografía feminista operan como dispositivos para nombrar el dolor, producir memorias encarnadas, tejer redes de cuidado y disputar las narrativas hegemónicas sobre el cuerpo de las mujeres.
