El drama de Felipe Calderón en la guerra en contra del narcotráfico

Este artículo plantea una mirada poco convencional acerca de la guerra implementada por Felipe Calderón en contra del crimen organizado. La perspectiva que se utiliza es la sociología cultural, que al resaltar las dimensiones simbólicas de los fenómenos sociopolíticos permite observar la constitución de éstos mediante los elementos culturales. De este modo, se plantea la guerra en contra del crimen organizado como un drama que establece un héroe (Calderón), un propósito (terminar con la inseguridad), un enemigo (los criminales), unos medios (las fuerzas armadas como elementos de limpieza) y los potenciales beneficiarios directos (los ciudadanos). Desde esta mirada se pretende dar luz a algunas cuestiones importantes acerca del ejercicio de la política en México.
