Significación del espacio barrial como imagen de ciudad: el caso de Pescaíto, Santa Marta

El presente artículo es producto de un proceso de investigación adelantado en el Caribe colombiano, específica- mente en el barrio Pescaíto de la ciudad de Santa Marta, Distrito Turístico, Cultural e Histórico. Tiene como propósito generar una reflexión descriptiva acerca de las formas como el espacio barrial significado es recreado como referente turístico alterna- tivo de Santa Marta. Muestra la capacidad inventiva y creativa del pescaitero para configurar unas estrategias de apropiación e interacción del espacio urbano, entendidas como lógicas y sentidos de habitar, representar, actuar y vivir con y en el barrio.
