Bailar morenada en la ciudad. Espacio público, identidades y colonialidad en las experiencias de devotas a la Virgen de Urkupiña en Salta, Argentina

El trabajo retoma experiencias de mujeres durante el baile de la morenada, los cuales forman parte de las procesiones en honor a la Virgen de Urkupiña en la ciudad de Salta-Argen- tina. Desde un enfoque interdisciplinario, se indaga la manera en que la devoción se configura en una práctica emergente, es decir, rememora un pasado negado en el imaginario nacional y provincial (vinculado a lo andino-indígena) mientras disputa un espacio público local consagrado a festividades canónicas-ca- tólicas. El análisis resulta un aporte para reflexionar cómo la religiosidad es un lugar fértil para pensar identidades, legitimi- dades y formas de inclusión y exclusión social en el marco de la modernidad-colonialidad.
