El balance decisional, etapas de cambio y nivel de actividad física en estudiantes de bachillerato

El modelo transteórico postula que la modificación de conductas implica la progresión de los sujetos a través de cinco etapas, en las que el balance decisional es uno de los procesos responsables de dicho cambio. Los objetivos del estudio fueron evaluar la validez concurrente del cuestionario de etapas de cambio para el ejercicio y examinar el balance decisional a través de las etapas de cambio y su relación con el nivel de actividad físico-deportiva en 285 estudiantes de una preparatoria pública de Monterrey, México. Los resultados resaltan la importancia del balance decisional para cambiar comportamientos sedentarios y adoptar un estilo de vida activo en la población joven. Se presenta evidencia de validez concurrente del cuestionario de etapas de cambio para el ejercicio.
