Una aproximación a los clientes de prostitución en México

El presente estudio, realiza una búsqueda documental de los clientes de prostitución en México, primero en términos socio-demográficos; después, en el terreno de la subjetividad, a través de sus motivaciones para acudir a la prostitución, considerando las tipologías desarrolladas por diversos autores. Posteriormente, la aproximación se lleva a cabo mediante un recorrido histórico de la prostitución en México, a través del cual es posible rastrear la participación del cliente y su relación con el Estado. Finalmente, se realiza una reflexión acerca de la participación actual del cliente de prostitución, en un momento marcado por la expansión de la trata con fines de explotación sexual comercial.
