Nayib Bukele: populismo e implosión democrática

Este trabajo presenta explora la figura del presidente populista Nayib Bukele, quien ocupa la presidencia de El Salvador desde el primero de junio de 2019. En primer lugar, da cuenta del escenario que explica su ascenso en el marco de la crisis del régimen político que surgió de los Acuerdos de Paz en 1992. En segundo lugar, recorre la carrera de este personaje desde su emergencia al interior del FMLN hasta su lanzamiento de su candidatura populista enfrentado a la clase política. Finalmente, intenta valorar las implicaciones de la deriva autoritaria de su gobierno para el futuro democrático de El Salvador.
