Mínimo vital en México: obligaciones internacionales y gasto público

El objetivo de este artículo es formular una revisión crítica la actuación del Estado respecto a las obligaciones internacionales contraídas en materia de derechos sociales, en particular sobre el derecho al mínimo vital. Éste último, al ser un concepto de reciente creación, aún encierra dilemas sobre los medios para materializarlo de la mejor manera. Se ha hecho uso de los métodos de abstracción y concreción y de técnicas documentales. Los resultados muestran una disociación entre la finalidad que persigue el derecho al mínimo vital y las prácticas asistencialistas para las que se destina un monto importante de presupuesto público.
