Murals as artifacts of memory within the geographies of terror in Veracruz

El artículo tiene como objetivo desarrollar una reflexión sobre el uso del mural como artefacto de la memoria en la región de Las Altas Montañas en Veracruz, México. El texto se sustenta en el trabajo etnográfico realizado en dicha zona, donde se llevaron a cabo diversas entrevistas a los miembros del Colectivo Familias de Desaparecidos Orizaba-Córdoba, así como observación participante a pie de fosa y en la pinta del último mural en la ciudad de Orizaba. A modo de conclusión, se observa que los murales pueden activar de forma expresiva la memoria de los actores sociales en contextos de violencia, resignificando el pasado y desarrollando una conexión de sentidos con la experiencia presente y las expectativas de futuro.
