Del Genius Loci a la Pachamama. Una revalorización del espíritu del lugar frente a neo-extractivismos en América Latina

A partir del concepto clásico de Genius Loci el presente artículo propone reflexionar su vínculo con la noción sudamericana de Pachamama, a fin de volver la mirada hacia el espíritu del lugar, al ambiente y la madre tierra. Focalizando en América Latina y a través de una metodología cualitativa, se abordan las principales acciones antrópicas tendientes al “desarrollo económico” que han producido y producen impactos en nuestra casa común. El análisis se centra en el concepto de neo-extractivismo, identificando diversas variantes y debates en torno a sus mayores efectos, así como también se analizan críticamente las acciones que han llevado a cabo en pos de resguardar los derechos de la madre tierra y todos sus componentes y seres vivos.
