La otra representación: vínculos clientelares a nivel local en México

Esta investigación evidencia que las relaciones políticas no son sólo vínculos programáticos sino que también hay vínculos clientelares. Esto supone otra forma de representación y se sostiene en las condiciones de marginalidad de la población, en la alta rentabilidad del intercambio clientelar y en la percepción de beneficios mutuos que los actores reciben como producto del intercambio que se realiza. El estudio da cuenta del modo en que los políticos se relacionan con los intermediarios y los clientes a nivel local en México en la búsqueda de maximizar sus opciones electorales y da voz a los intermediarios como ejes centrales de la intermediación.
